ShopToEarth’s green radar picked up a story from Darbe Nokes and her kids’ school Mariposa Elementary School in Thousand Oaks, California . Darbe, a ShopToEarth network representative, passes on the green news that both students and faculty members are thinking global and acting local to raise awareness about the most pressing environmental issues today. Specifically, the school has put together a spring cleaning event that will raise money for the school as well as teach children the importance of keeping our oceans clean.

Everyday is Earth Day at ShopToEarth, but this month launches Think Global Act Local Tour already in full green swing celebrating Earth Day.
