It is not a finished basement so we are going to change that. I didn’t know the first thing about how to finish a basement, but my husband is a contractor and was able to envision what he needed to do step by step. We already knew the plans that we had for it. It is pretty large and we wanted to section it off into a huge family and game room, and then a guest bedroom and a bathroom as well. He waterproofed the entire basement and bought everything that we would need to do to finish it ourselves. He had some guys from his work crew help and it started to shape up in no time. I think that laminate flooring is absolutely perfect. In my eyes there is nothing you can get flooring wise that beats laminate flooring.
