ShopToEarth’s Camille Mitchell Paints a Profitable Picture for Artists
If there is one person who understands the value of building relationships, it’s Camille Mitchell. A University of DC graduate and owner operator of NCM Enterprises, Camille has worked with several Fortune 500 companies in a variety of positions including sales and marketing, customer relations and administration. But her true passion is entrepreneurship and helping others find the path to their dreams.
With the help of ShopToEarth, Camille is blending her enthusiasm for helping others with another passion: art. She believes many artists can benefit from the business model ShopToEarth has to offer.
“I find many artists LOVE what they do, and we should all be so lucky. Unfortunately, most artists have an extremely difficult time making a decent living. There are so many challenges that it’s a miracle they can produce such beautiful works of art out of almost nothing,” says Camille in her recent newsletter, Green Connections. “ShopToEarth is a catalyst for artists, entrepreneurs and others in the creative class. It allows people to follow their passion, as well as a decent income.”
Camille’s Green Connections newsletter provides ShopToEarth Michigan representatives tips and tools to run their businesses, stories of the success found by others in ShopToEarth as well as information about green initiatives and projects being produced by fellow ShopToEarth representatives.
In addition to that, Camille helps out at the Open Forum Network answering questions and teaching representatives how to get the most of their online shopping portals. For example, she passed along tips on the best times to invest in Restaurant.com gift certificates to maximize the amount of money saved.
And if she didn’t have enough on her canvas, Camille is heavily involved in the BE GREEN, STAY GREEN project run by ShopToEarth representative Stacy Kania. Stacy is a mother of four and a Daisy Girl Scout leader at Holy Family Regional School in Rochester, Michigan. She works to teach her girls the value of being environmentally friendly and helped them earn their “Make the World a Better Place” petal by engaging them in a quilting project that recycled fabrics from old clothes among other green projects. Camille is diligently working to promote the project because she firmly believes teaching young children how to take care of the Earth is so important.
